Celebrations at the Embassy of Great Britain

On June 4th, the senior pastor of New Life church, Vyacheslav Goncharenko went to the celebrations at the Embassy of Great Britain in Belarus. The celebration was devoted to the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. Grand celebrations in honor of this event took place all over Great Britain.At the reception there were many guests and visitors: public and political leaders, ambassadors of different countries.
“It was a pleasure for me to visit such an event, where I met with our friends and also had an opportunity to meet new people. I also had a chance to visit with the ambassador of Great Britain in Belarus, Rosemary Thomas and her spouse. Soon they will return to London, since their diplomatic term is coming to an end" – commented Vyacheslav Goncharenko about his visit.
The ambassador of Great Britain Rosemary Thomas has always been interested in New Life church and its interactions with the Belorussian authorities. In the beginning of work as the ambassador in Belarus (September, 2009) she initiated a meeting with the lawyer of New Life church Sergey Lukanin, and asked in detail about the situation with the building of the church and about the attitude of the authorities to the church community.
