Prayer meeting. Power has been given

On Monday, May 7, a special prayer meeting took place. God’s power actually filled the room. A prophetic word was released by the leader of the prayer ministry Maria Semirenko. At the end of the meeting many people admitted that they were greatly touched by the word. “When I came for prayer I was in depressed mood because right before it I had got unpleasant news which greatly affected me. I was deeply upset. Praise the Lord, the anointing of the Holy Spirit got me encouraged, gave me strength and lifted me up.” – told one of the ministers Ludmila Pritchina.
“The power has been given! The power and the strength!” – that word kept be heard on and on in prayer. “The power and the strength have been given! Go forth and do your best! Don’t stay under a juniperic bush as Elijah did. Don’t say: “I am young, tongue tied or I have no experience.” The cave where you ground the wheat (in other words, do your everyday duties) may be quite comfortable to you. But the Word says that the power has already been given. By that power you will be able to overcome and get victory over any obstacles: sickness, poverty and even death… Come out of the cave with the power that you have. Jesus is the Champion and the victory has been given to us!” – this message was addressed to the congregation.
At every prayer meeting the believers pray for the church, its growth, the pastor and the leaders. That evening there was a special intercession for the unity between brothers and sisters of different denominations. The people gathered for prayer interceded based on John 17, verse 22: “… that they may be one, even as we are one”.
With one heart the congregation also prayed for the evangelical service on the 27th of May and the celebration in New Life Church which is taking place in June.
The believers prayed for healing from cancer and for the cloths that were brought by the relatives of those who are suffering.
Praise and worship continued during all the time of prayer.
