IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU LIVE ON EARTH...

About a hundred thousand people die on planet earth daily. That is about 1 person per second! While you’ve been reading this 2, 3 or perhaps 5 people have died depending on your reading abilities. Death is a reality that people don’t like to speak or think of, let alone, to plan it. You may have never come face to face with death but believe this is a reality which will sooner or later inevitably burst into your life. And what’s next?
Why do I live on earth? What purpose was I born for? What’s the meaning of life? Almost every sensible person asks himself these questions. Have you found answers? If not, let us offer you our version.
We do not believe that you’ve originated from an ape or that our beautiful planet was formed as a result of a blast. What ever can be formed from destruction?
You, a unique person, were created by God. Your birth was not random. Your coming into the world was neither an unexpected mistake nor an unlucky accident. Your parents may not have planned you but God was not taken by surprise. Quite the opposite, He had been waiting for it as you’d always been in His plans. You are alive because God wanted to create you!
God made you for a certain purpose and that purpose is a part of God’s all-embracing project stretching into eternity. «Surely God would not have created such a being as man, with an ability to grasp the infinite, to exist only for a day! No, no, man was made for immortality» . (Abraham Lincoln). You current life is a preparation for eternity. You were created for an eternal life.
It matters to God how you will live your current life as well as your future life. He is not indifferent to where you will spend eternity: in hell without Him or with Him in His Kingdom. Why? Because a good father always cares for his children. We presume you may say: «Well, His care is not too obvious, especially judging by TV news».
God’s protection and care for a person’s life begins with his/her dedication and submission to Jesus. Are there many people around you that openly declare their faith in God and confess Jesus Christ their Lord? Then why do people demand God’s protection, security or provision if they never admit their dependence on the Creator?
But God still appeals to them.
Every person in this world can hear God’s call at least once. Yes, it is indeed so – do not be surprised. Even now the fact that you are reading these lines shows that God is appealing to you. Out in the streets you are invited to come to a Protestant church – this is God talking to you and saying He exists and is waiting for you. On a Sunday morning you hear a Catholic priest preach on the radio – this is God appealing to you. You are admiring the sunset – this is God saying He is the Creator of the universe. Your granny, an Orthodox Christian, may not once have talked to you about God and you consider it a vestige of the past but it’s precisely God that put His appeal into her mouth.
When your earthly life comes to an end, you won’t be able to tell Jesus (before whom you shall stand) that you’ve never known about Him or that no one has told you about Him. The choice is always yours: to admit the existence of God or turn away and say: «I’ll manage without you. I do not need you». The Bible promises: «But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name» (John 1:12). All you need to do in order to be reconciled with God is to believe and accept. Will you respond to God’s invitation?
If yes, then first you need to believe.
Believe that God loves you and He has created you for Himself. Believe that your birth was not accidental. Believe that you have been created for eternity. Believe that God predestined you to personally get to know Jesus Christ who died for you on the cross. Believe that despite your former transgressions God wants to forgive you.
Secondly, accept. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Accept His forgiving your sins. Accept His Holy Ghost who will give you strength to fulfill God’s planned destiny for your life. The Bible says: «He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life» (John 3:36).
Right now as you are reading these lines we invite you to bow your head and say the prayer which shall change your eternity: «Jesus, I believe in you and accept you. I confess all my sins before you and I am grateful to you for dying on the cross for me. Thank you».
If you said this prayer and sincerely repented of your sins, God will definitely accept you as His son or daughter and you won’t need to worry on the subject where you’ll spend eternity: with God in heaven or in hell away from Him! What you should do next is to get in touch with believers in your area and tell them about your serious intention to change your life and follow Jesus.
